A new generation of construction material, concrete canvas is a flexible, lightweight concrete impregnated fabric that hardens to form a thin, durable waterproof and fireproof membrane that can be used as a stand-alone protective element or as an integrated part of another structure.


Installation is key with concrete canvas and GCCM products and in recent times, we have overseen the remote deployment of our skilled installation teams to locations across Australia. We have been fortunate enough to carry out installations for major projects, which have included the Curtis Island LNG projects, the W2B project, Australian Defence Force projects, as well as a diverse range of smaller installations across New South Wales, the Northern Territory, and Queensland.

The concrete canvas difference – it’s all in the mix

GCCMs comprise a three-dimensional fibre matrix filled with a uniquely formulated dry concrete mixture. A PVC backing on the underside of the concrete canvas ensures that the material is impermeable upon proper installation. Our teams install the product to manufacturer specs, and then hydrate it by spraying or submerging it in fresh or saltwater. Once cured, the product provides a water-resistant and low-carbon concrete layer to protect the surface below.


We currently supply concrete canvas in 3 thicknesses: 5, 8, and 13mm, which are designated as CC5, CC8, and CC13 respectively. GCCMs are supplied in various widths according to their application.
